Wasatch Commons and the Environment

Wasatch Commons is Environmentally Friendly in the Following Ways:

• The buildings are very energy efficient, with R-walls and passive solar design for heatig and cooling.
• Over half of the 4 1/2 acre grounds is open space with vegetation, the homes are clustered together in the other half.
• Car pooling and the use of public transportation. Several residents do not have their own cars.
• Recycling.
• There is concern for the wild life; in order to protect the birds, cats have to be belled and new cats acquired by residents must be indoor cats.
